The 'Texture & Colors' Table by Alessi
17/12/2019 - The “Texture & Colors” series, launched by Alessi in 2018, is inspired by the ancient goldsmith technique of Etruscan granulation. In 2019, a warm shade of red and a deep black are the finishes of a further group of table accessories: the double-walled “Double” bowls by Donato D’Urbino - Paolo Lomazzi and the rectangular “Moiré” tray by Marcel Wanders. “Texture & Colors”, Alessi_ph Alessandro Milani

The granulation effect is obtained through a cold coining process. The grains are arranged on the metal surface in a geometric sequence generated by the Fibonacci sequence. The result is a texture with a harmonious layout that interacts with light, giving the metal a sort of skin capable of enhancing the pure lines of objects.

Made in the company’s production facilities in Crusinallo, the new elements of “Texture & Colors” underline the excellence of a production process that integrates perfectly with the design Each piece in the “Texture & Colors” collection goes well with the entire range of Alessi’s tableware collection dedicated to mise-en-place, giving the table a new look.
