The Quarto d'Altino based Agostini Group is an important producer of windows. Luciano Agostini founded the company under the name ETP and first started manufacturing PVC windows in 1963. In the 1970s the company's name was changed to Agos Avvolgibili and introduced the extrusion of PVC powder. In the mid-eighties Agostini, in collaboration with other european companies, launched a new series of PVC windows. This project gave birth to Soteco. Towards the end of the nineties the company was acquired by Archimede Progetti, leading producer of wood and aluminium windows, and began with the production of shutter panels and shutters in Fibex, a new and innovative material made of fiberglass. In 2005 Agostinni, Agos, Soteco and Archimede decided to pool their knowledge and energy and formed the Agostini Group, continuing to produce wood and aluminium windows, PVC windows, panel shutters and shutters in Fibex. In 2011, together with other leading companies of the same sector, Germano Agostini founded ANFIT. This was meant to establish reliable quality standards that would define products made in Italy. The objectives of the Agostini Group are manufacturing methods for windows that combine design and innovation, technology and quality, insulation and the use of constantly improved materials, as well as the reduction of waste and respect for the environment. ...
