Founded in 1847 by Alexandre Turpault
, the House designs, produces and distributes collections of home linen: bed linen, accessories, bath linen and table linen.
The story of Alexandre Turpault begins in Cholet in the West of France, where crops of linen are an essential part of the landscape. At that time, the culture, weaving and manufacturing of linen bedding was a major part of the economic growth of the region.
From the beginning our house knew success in supplying prestigious French department stores (first supplier of house linen of Le Bon Marché) and founding the now traditional “White Sales” in January.
In 1997, the Vanderschooten family bought the brand and all its know-how and heritage. Vanderschooten is a family of the North of France weaving and producing home textiles since 1947 – a family-long tradition perpetuated until now with the family still at the head of the company.
Since then, for more than 170 years, the brand is distributed in more than 60 countries throughout the world and offers you its heritage, know-how and unique style.
