BD Barcelona Design is a Spanish furniture brand with an art design style. BD Barcelona produces unique limited-edition handcrafted objects inspired by creativity and the desire to move away from classic schemes. The wide-ranging BD Barcelona catalogue includes solutions for indoor and outdoor furniture, office and contract facilities, as well as lighting systems and home decoration. Founded in 1972 by architects and interior designers Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, Lluis Clotet, Mireia Riera and Oscar Tusquets, the company was first named BD Ediciones de Diseño. From the outset, it established itself as a unique brand driven by the desire to propose a new vision of furniture design associated with art. BD Barcelona Design's products include outdoor armchairs, benches, deckchairs, sofas and tables, which, in keeping with the company's philosophy, are presented in imaginative over-the-top solutions ideal for giving personality to any context. A collection is also dedicated to street furniture with seating, benches and planters for public spaces. The company has received numerous prestigious international awards, including the European Design Community Award (1990) and the Red Dot Design Award (2011).

BD Barcelona Design offers solutions that push the traditional furniture envelope to create personal and unique items for residential and contract use. The catalogue includes a wide range of sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, benches, furniture for the living area and accessories for the bedroom. There is also an attractive range of furnishing complements, including indoor lamps, home decoration accessories, vases, mirrors and candleholders. Inspired by art, some of BD Barcelona Design's collections have been created in collaboration with some of the most renowned names in design. The Leda collection - a tribute to artist Salvador Dalí - reproduces Dalì-designed furniture in a global exclusive. The Calvet line bears the signature of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudì and reproduces the furniture he designed for the Calvet house. BD Barcelona aesthetics have an irreverent, sometimes even desecrating, taste in form and concept, now embodied in the visions of top designers like Jaime Hayon and Doshi Levien.
