The Advantages of Vinyl
Laying vinyl is extremely simple; vinyl is soft and forgiving. It can be cut with a utility knife and in many cases ‘laid’ without the need for adhesive. Ease of installation is a key aspect when you want to change the design of your home quickly and easily. Whether you walk on high heels or in slippers, this material absorbs noise so well that it is up to 50% quieter than other floor coverings. Vinyl floors have a 100% water-resistant top layer. Vinyl rolls require very little maintenance. Thanks to an optional protective polyurethane varnish, the floor is easy to clean and highly resistant to everyday wear and tear. This material is soft and warm to the touch, making it the ideal floor for walking barefoot. It also conducts heat easily, so it works well with underfloor heating. Beauflor® is the only company in the world to offer rolls of vinyl in 5 metre widths. This allows the floor to be easily installed without joints, resulting in a perfect finish. Beauflor vinyl floors are protected by a strong PVC layer that is highly resistant to stains in normal domestic use.
Vinyl flooring made in Europe
The production process takes place entirely in Europe and follows strict protocols designed to respect the environment. It takes into account the needs of the local economy and follows best practices. Beauflor PVC components meet the highest standards and comply with European legislation on the use of chemicals (REACH). By producing in Europe, the company is closer to its market, which means that products travel fewer kilometres, which helps control the carbon footprint and reduce environmental impact. Beauflor boasts that its floor coverings are among the safest and healthiest available on the market. The aim is to reduce, reuse and recycle at every stage of the production cycle. All vinyl sheet products are orthophthalate-free, which means that only non-orthophthalate plasticisers, such as DOTP, are used. DOTP has been evaluated by the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) as a safe and healthy product to use due to its excellent toxicological profile.
Design of Beauflor flooring
Beauflor vinyl rolls are available in widths of 2, 3, 4 and 5 metres, ideal for installation in the bathroom, kitchen or any other room in the house. From a more rustic style to a more
contemporary one, Beauflor floors fit and decorate any room. The different finishes are inspired by the surrounding world, both natural and man-made, and this enables the creation of striking designs that resist current fashions. Production includes herringbone patterns, extra-long planks for a luxury loft look, classic wood finishes and muted tones, as well as slate tiles or designs with a concrete and cement effect. All are available in a wide variety of colours. All Beauflor vinyl floors are available in four widths (two to five metres) with a choice of thicknesses and finishes.
