    BigMat, founded in 1981, is the leading point-of-sale group in Italy and Europe for the specialized distribution of building, renovation and refurbishment materials. The international network has over 1,000 outlets and 585 members in 7 countries (Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Spain) and a total 2023 turnover of 3.4 billion euros. In Italy, BigMat has more than 240 outlets and 159 members, with a Group turnover in 2023 of more than €1 billion. BigMat caters to professionals in the building industry - construction companies, planners, architects, interior designers, craftsmen - as well as private individuals, offering customized products, construction systems and services for each project.     Since 2023 BigMat Italia has been the official sponsor of the Italian National Volleyball Teams and will accompany the athletes as a new jersey co-sponsor in all international events. In 2024, the Group is also the title sponsor of the BigMat Youth National Volleyball Finals. BigMat Italia is also part of BigMat International, the Group's company responsible for fostering the exchange of experience and knowledge among its Members and between the different countries where the BigMat brand is present. Among BigMat International's most prominent initiatives are the BigMat International Architecture Award (a biennial prize that has been promoting European architectural excellence since 2013) and the social responsibility project “We Build for Sport,” which has been supporting amateur sports throughout Europe since 2020.
