Bruag is a Swiss brand that produces panels for exterior applications such as ventilated or perforated facades, balcony railings, and shading systems, as well as for interior use such as partition panels, stair railings, and acoustic panels. The panels used are made of wood or wood-derived materials, on which a laser cut is made to precisely fit the needs of designers and clients. The cutting can be done in classical style, to obtain flat panels of medium or large format, or slatted, for small format panels. Bruag also offers design cutting, which consists of laser drilling with a predefined design in over 100 available variations, which can also be totally customized, for a truly unique and original design. Wide choice also for colors and finishes. For both standard and custom panels, Bruag guarantees delivery in record time, dealing directly with the project from initial consultation to production, with a single point of contact throughout the entire process. Bruag Design Factory AG combines years of experience in laser processing of wood and wood-like materials with a long-standing knowledge of surface processing of these materials. In recent years the company has completed prestigious projects-in the corporate, university, diplomatic, social and housing spheres-in Europe and abroad.

Bruag for exteriors: ventilated facades, perforated facades, balconies, sunshades

For exterior applications Bruag offers panels in two materials: CELLON® for applications in more exposed areas and FORMBOARD TOP PINE®, in more protected areas. CELLON® is a high-pressure compact panel (HPL) composed of 70 percent cellulose fibers and 30 percent phenolic resin. This composition makes it a material that looks very similar to wood but, due to the presence of the resin, does not shrink or swell as is the case with wood panels. Highly resistant to weathering and UV rays, CELLON® has great resistance to breakage, compared to fiber cement, and less expansion than metal, as well as having a lower weight despite being between 8 and 10 mm thick. These characteristics make it an ideal material for cladding ventilated, or perforated facades, or for balcony parapets, or even for sunscreens. FORMBOARD TOP PINE® is a high-density wood-based panel laminated with polyurethane, reaching a thickness between 10 and 18 mm. It is resistant to moisture, but should not be exposed to the elements; in fact, it is perfect as a balcony soffit, or as a partition in more sheltered outdoor areas. Each panel made by Bruag is individually laser cut, which means the panels are delivered ready for assembly, including the hole, recesses, substructure, and fasteners. Each element is precisely designed, taking into account requirements, cut to the millimeter according to plans and coated in one of more than 3,000 available color shades, all of which are UV-resistant. Panel edges are also coated in a color of your choice (RAL, NCS S, Bruag Alu).

Panels for walls, ceilings and stairs: Bruag for interior design

For interiors, panels offered by Bruag can be made of CELLON® , MDF or Oak Wood and can help make rooms more original, personalized and creative. You can also complement the panels with colored felts or backlight them with LEDs. Many companies have chosen to furnish their headquarters and offices with Bruag panels, applied to walls or ceilings. In fact, the company has a rich portfolio of projects and references among residences, offices and shopping centers. The flexibility and precision of laser cutting makes it possible to have a ready-made panel on site, complete with any cuts and recesses to accommodate lights, speakers, switches, or more, making the work of designers and craftsmen easier and faster. Used as dividing elements, mid-height or ceiling-mounted, fixed or movable, Bruag panels create a pleasant visual filter and can be custom consfigured. In continuity with walls, the same panels can be used as stair railings to create style and personality in any room. Bruag also provides acoustic solutions, thanks to the insertion of felts and insulating layers inside the panels, which, especially in working environments or public places, help to counter noise pollution, thus improving concentration and avoiding stress. The fixed acoustic panels can be mounted on walls or ceilings, while the mobile ones can be easily moved to where needed, and, in the Noise-Virus-Catcher version, are also equipped with an anti-virus filterrio that constantly cleans the air of germs and pollen. ...
