Udine / Italy

Website
Luca Botto was born in Udine in 1966. He studied at the Department of Architecture in Venice and, at the same time, developed his interest in the field of industrial design independently. He works in interior design, designing residences and stores in Italy and abroad, and in industrial design. His first products were God save the Queen and the Hayku armchair for Accento; he designed the White Flower kitchen and Little box, a container element with rigorous proportions, for Meson’s. This is a series of designs for which the technique of glass sublimation was developed ad hoc. This technique provides maximum emphasis for the floral arrangements of photographer Massimo Gardone, which characterises both designs.
