Tony Almén and Peter Gest = AlménGest Design. This duo have worked together since 1991 designing products for the home and office as well as public spaces. They have received commissions from companies both in Sweden and abroad, providing designs for everything from door-knobs to upholstered furniture. The philosophy behind their designs inspires them to strive for functionality, high quality, aesthetic appeal and a unique identity. They designed the 2K cabinet for Karl Andersson & Söner, which was launched in 2000. The series was further developed in 2002 with the addition of the 2K table.
