Claudio Francesco Bellini (1963) lives and works in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design at the Politecnico. From 1990 to 1996 worked with Mario Bellini Associati, participating in various projects and competitions of architecture and design in the international arena. In 1996 he founded Atelier Bellini, an innovative design studio, where special interest in the relationship between new technologies and creative processes. In 1998, his revolutionary system of office furniture, TW Collection (Frezza), introduced a completely new insight into the landscape of the contemporary office. From that moment on, his vast production of innovative projects in this area has greatly contributed to anticipate the behavior and trends in the work environment over the past 15 years.
Today Claudio Bellini Design, study of international renown, is active in the different fields of design, from design to architecture, collaborating with leading companies worldwide, including: Walter Knoll, Steelcase, Poltrona Frau, Natuzzi, Riva , 1920. Many of his projects have received prestigious international awards, including: Red Dot, IF and Good Design Award. Art Director for several international brands, Claudio Bellini has worked since 2003 with the company Barazzoni, one of the most well-known Italian manufacturers of products for the kitchen. Since 2010 he joined the group Fursys, a leading South Korean manufacturer of office furniture.
In 2012, started a close collaboration with the Natuzzi Group in the field of furniture. Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University of Genoa from 2004 to 2008, regularly holds seminars and conferences around the world. Claudio Bellini describes his creative process as an adventure of the mind, free from prejudice, animated only by enthusiasm, curiosity and optimism. This attitude, tied to a particular sensitivity to the technological innovation and the new dynamics of the contemporary market is recognizable in the various projects and in his working method.
