Emilio Nanni is architect, designer and artist. Graduated in Architecture in Florence, Emilio Nanni is the founder of |ENa+d| design studio. He has always been dealing with design, architecture, interior design, art direction and design consultancy. He has also done research and didactic activities, keeping lectures and workshops about design in several Architecture faculties and Design schools. He took part in exhibitions and reviews and his works have been inserted in a series of essay publications in all main design magazines, along with blogs and architecture and design websites.
As an Architect, he realized works of different nature, ranging from residential architecture, urban requalification, museum installations to interior design.
As a Designer, he collaborated with a large number of Italian brands such as Billiani, Bross Cyrcus, Calligaris, DaA italia, De Castelli, IFIGroup Metalmobil, HuateMaterial, Laboratorio Pesaro, Lamm, Mdf Italia, Guzzini, OpificioItalia963, Pianca, Roche Bobois, Saba, SlowWood, Tonelli, Tonon, Valadier Gioielli, Zeritalia, Zanotta.
In 2016 he won the Red Dot Award 2016 with the chair FRATINA, produced by BILLIANI.
In 2017 he has been awarded again as winner of the Red Dot Award 2017 with the chair MYRA, produced by METALMOBIL.
As an artist - specifically as a painter - he explores symbols and materials. His works have been exposed in several personal exhibitions in national and international museums and galleries, along with international private and public collections. The most recent one was at MAMbo (a modern art gallery in Bologna), in May 2017. He works and lives in Bologna.
