I am lucky to have been born and work in a country like Italy, where creative and artistic forms have always created Made in Italy, genetically modified its DNA making it unique and exclusive in the world."
Marco Poletti was born in Novara in 1968, graduated in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic and in 1995 began his professional activity. In 1997 he opened Marco Poletti Studio.
Over the years he has collaborated with important brands in the fashion sector (Cerruti, Christian Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Ferrè, Mandarina Duck, Missoni, Valentino and Zara), consumer goods (Barilla, Bialetti, Olivetti, Sony and Wind) and furnishings (Albatros, Besana, Bongio, Catalano, Cerasa, De Vecchi, Faraone, GiustiPortos, Geromin Group, Huber, MD Studio, SevesGlasblock, Tre-P&Tre-Più and Jacuzzi). Among the results there are over 700 designed products, 50 interior and contract projects abroad (in particular Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the Emirates), over 160 sets and more than 2500 publications. Today he collaborates with Renco S.p.a., one of the most important Italian general contractors.
In 2011 he founded DNA MADE IN ITALY and entered trade fairs for the first time, at Cersaie in Bologna, as an architect with his own stand, bringing in non-competitive partner companies. Cersaie will be followed by more than 30 important international fairs (Milan, Bologna, London, Frankfurt, Dubai, New York) with more than 300 partner companies.

In 2020, the year of the 25th anniversary of his work, he opens the first permanent DNA MADE IN ITALY location in Kazakhstan, Almaty, and is awarded the position of Design Ambassador by the Italian Embassy Nur Sultan and by ADI for the Italian Design Days Italian in Kazakhstan. For 10 years member of the Design commission for the Person ADI Index Design Compasso d'Oro.

AWARDS
In 2022 he received the Archiproducts Design Award with the IO collection by Linki Rubinetteria, the Archiproducts Design Award with the POLI collection by AeT Italia, the European Product Design Awards with the POLI collection by AeT Italia.
The previous year the Iconic Design Award, the SBID and the European Product Design Awards with EGO by Giulini G.
Previously he won the IIDEX Canada competition (2015), the Belarus Award in Belarus (2014) with the LAGHI collection by La Torre and in 2002 the first prestigious award the ADI Index Design Compasso d'Oro with MOON by Bongio. For 10 years member of the Design for the Person ADI commission.
