After his art studies and ISIA (Institute of Artistic Industries) in Florence, he collaborated with the "Studio of Marcello Nizzoli and associates" in Milan, as responsible of design. He characterizes all its activities with a methodological approach, through comparison concrete and pragmatic with the project, free from all specialist conventionalism or trendy. Currently, his studio (Studio Opus) operates in a variety of production sectors: ranging from the design of aeronautical interiors to products for domestic or community environments, activating every possible design experience in a synergetic way. He deepens and improve his design methods also through the didactic experimentation with his teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, course of design methodology. His particular working method involves all phases of the project: through the close relationship with marketing and communications, up to generate a system between objects. This type of work is thus able to involve all the different types of productive sectors. The formal superficiality of products is replaced with the creative intensity of intelligent objects, no longer considered as isolated entities, but belonging to the "system" understood as a real generator of creativity.
In over 40 years of professional activity he has worked with the most important Italian and international Companies. His work has been recognized by countless design publications, books and magazines. He has received considerable national and international recognition and awards and He has participated in the most important exhibitions of the sector, significant the one permanent with the "Tuttuno: Mobile Totale" at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Arts) in New York.
