Fantini Rubinetti is the Italian company owned by the family of the same name that, since 1947, designs and manufactures
bathroom taps, taps and accessories for
bathtubs and showers, but also mixers and
taps for the kitchen. An extremely deep-rooted reality on the shores of Lake Orta that has, however, taken Made in Italy far beyond national borders: today, Fantini is an international reference point, with a presence in no less than fifty countries around the world, thanks to the contemporary design of its products and the use of quality materials. Perhaps it was the location on the shores of a lake that provided the Fantini brothers, founders of the brand, with the idea of bringing water into houses through "tools" that were not only useful, but also beautiful and full of style. From 1947 to the present day, the company has produced dozens of collections, flanking production with a rigorous code of ethics, a mission and a vision that have always supported all employees. Respect for work, respect for people, maximum dedication to design and the ability to explore and create increasingly advanced pieces, thanks to technological progress, have led to the development of projects of high ethical value, such as those related to the partnership with CNR, for the intensive monitoring of water quality, or one dedicated to the construction of an aqueduct in Burundi. In 2010, from the partnership between Fantini and
Boffi company,
Aboutwater brand was born, with two series of taps designed by Piero Lissoni and Naoto Fukasawa. The intent of the operation is of a stylistic nature, because the two companies decide to propose to the market refined and contemporary tapware lines, but also strategic, as both brands aim to expand their market beyond the boundaries of their respective product segments.
Fantini taps and accessories: design for every style
Among Fantini's many collections, it will not be difficult to find the tap that perfectly matches the style of your home. Those who don't like an obvious style, will find
Nice, a wall-mounted washbasin tap, colorful and original, perfect: designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, the mixer and wall knobs of this model are colorful and surprising for the optical effects and the soft pleasantness to the touch. The shower mixer is also available in the same collection. The
AR/38 series is one of Fantini's greatest successes: the single-hole countertop washbasin mixer designed by Angeletti Rizza Design is a linear, essential, simple and elegant piece, beyond time and taste trends, a must for those who love elegance and sobriety. The
Mare floor-standing shower column, designed by Franco Sargiani, is a piece of contemporary interior design, perfect for those who love to combine functionality and aesthetics in a single product. Its monolithic shape has an ancestral charm, with a strong scenic impact. The waterfall jet and rear mirror complete a truly unique element.
But Fantini is also
bathroom accessories. And with the care of design, even a simple
towel rack can have the dignity of a museum piece: linear, square, perfect for any space. As well as the
soap dish, a piece only apparently prosaic, but elegant and coordinated with the rest of Fantini's production.
Fantini Rubinetti: iconic products and collaborations with great designers
Fantini has always been convinced that collaboration with great international designers would benefit the image of the company and the creation of truly exclusive products. Over the decades, many products have been created by the creativity of leading figures on the architecture and design scene. Already in the 70s, for example, was born
the collection I Balocchi, fun and colorful, designed by Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti, as well as the first great success under the Fantini brand and still in production. The Calibro series, just a few years younger and always born from the creativity of Mercatali and Pedrizzetti, is also very successful, even becoming part of the permanent collection of MoMa in New York. 1993 dates the collaboration with Enzo Mari, who creates Manovella, a special collection with a retro taste. Rodolfo Dordoni, a famous designer who has measured himself against iconic pieces of furniture, contributed to Fantini's greatness with the Levante series, Honorable Mention at the ADI Compasso d'Oro award, in 2014.
