The history of Ceramiche Mariner
In 1984 Mr Catti Arnaldo and his wife, Luisa Porta, establish Ceramiche Mariner, to meet customer's necessities, in Italy and abroad, especially in terms of good service and high quality. In 1997 the family, from not even 20 people, gets bigger, acquiring new offices and new warehouses, in order to assist the customer at its best.
In 2001 Mariner open its first double-fired wall tiles plant, with an annual production of 1.200.000 sqm and with a 98% yield of 1st choice. The sudden growth of the turnover brought Catti family to take an important decision to pursue their targets of service and quality. In 2016 they purchase an area of 55.000 sqm where, in 14 months only, 30.000 sqm of the warehouse have been built and ceramic plants have been installed, for a total investment of € 55.000.000,00 The area has been wholly drained, while facilities have been built, in compliance with all seismic obligations, to guarantee maximum safety to the staff.
In January 2019 the plant starts its process, creating 90 workplaces and, in 3 months only, production’s 1st choice yield is around 95,5%. Annual production capacity is 5.400.000 sqm. And with new PRIME software, they can control, anytime and anywhere, every single production process, keeping a detailed eye on costs and quickly operating on products’ quality.
