30/03/2018 - ALMA LIGHT presents PAROS, a beautiful collection of luminaires –suspension, table, wall lamp and floor- with a select, elegant and mineral air, carried out in genuine Carrara marble.
Paros is the name of a Greek island where there is a quarry from which, in antiquity, a type of marble very appreciated by the sculptors was extracted. PAROS is also the name of this beautiful collection of luminaires, made in marble.
What captivates us of this collection is its mineral spirit, its brightness, its discreet elegance, its class. The light is filtered lightly through the stone, but the beam of light emerges through the opal methacrylate diffuser located in the opening of the bell-shaped screen and projected downwards, without dazzling. The screen has a fine and polished touch and no two are the same, since each one is made with a different fragment of marble and shows unique and unrepeatable veins. PAROS is a high-end, refined collection, designed for exclusive spaces in residential projects, elegant hotels, charming accommodations or luxury goods stores.
The collection consists of four models: floor, table, wall and hanging lamps. The structure is white painted-textured iron and the shade is made in genuine Carrara marble. It includes a LED of the type Seoul 4,5W with a luminous efficiency of 450 lumens, and a pleasant light with a temperature of 3000K.
