01/10/2020 - The call for entries to the Archiproducts Design Awards 2020 devoted to design excellence worldwide is officially closed. From Canada to India to the United States to Japan, this fifth edition counts over 750 international entries. The competing products combine sustainability and ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
 
Just a few more days and the jury will start to evaluate the submissions to select the 2020 ADA Winner!
 
Glas Italia, Minotti, Poltrona Frau, Alias, Desalto, Magis, arper, Salvatori, TON, Piet Boon, Miniforms, Buzzispace, Tacchini, Visionnaire, Wiener Gtv, Zeitraum are present once again in the Furniture, Contract and Office categories along with De Castelli, Acerbis, Twils, Hem, pulpo, Potocco, Natuzzi, Flou, Gallotti&Radice, LaCividina, Lapalma, Bonaldo, Society Limonta and many others.
 
Elica, Foster, True Design, Gaggenau and Steininger are just some of the brands competing in the Kitchen category.
 
Great participation in the Lighting category: Artemide, Davide Groppi, Vibia, Andlight, Brokis, Centrsvet, Martinelli Luce and Vistosi, together with the historic German company Midgard, a new 2020 entry.
 
From ceramics to wood to mosaics to wallpaper. Jannelli&Volpi, Cedit, Alpi, Ceramica Bardelli, Inkiostro Bianco, Glamora, Mosaico+, Ceramica Sant’Agostino and Object Carpet are among the brands competing in the Finishes category.
 
The Bathroom category is one of the most crowded again this year. Back in the race are Agape, Ceramica Cielo, Ceadesign, Ex.t, Rexa Design, Cristina Rubinetterie, Ceramica Flaminia, Zazzeri, Devon&Devon and many other international brands. Among them, Inbani and Fiora from Spain, Geberit from Switzerland and Sanwa from Japan.
 
Ethimo, Manutti, Talenti, MDF Italia, Tribù, Emu, Gandiablasco are among the candidates in the Outdoor category, with Elmar and Unopiù among the newcomers.
 
Geometry, color and materials. GAN, BD Barcelona, Tapis Rouge, Jaipur Rugs and many other international brands compete in the Décor category.
 
Samsung and Alpac are among the candidates in the Building category. BTicino is back in the Systems, Components and Materials category along with Olimpia Splendid, Hoppe and Secco Sistemi. Velux confirms its participation in the Building Shell category, while the American brand LARQ is present for the first time in Lifestyle.
 
Now we just have to wait for the final verdict. The jury is a multidisciplinary group composed of over 60 of the most interesting international architectural offices, designers, creative directors, editors, photographers and creative hubs from around the world.
 
Judging will take place in two phases. The ADA 2020 longlist will be published on October 23rd and will include the products that will move on to the final phase to compete for the title of 'Winner'. The 2020 ADA Winner, selected from the longlist, will be announced during the first week of November.
