07/10/2020 - Asteré invites contemporary artists from diverse disciplines such as sculpture, fashion or design to bring their art to life on another medium, wallpaper.
This new project is curated by Élitis, a French high-end wallpaper editor and designer. As a generous elder sister, Élitis shared 30 years of treasured techniques with Asteré, including traditional printing, screen printing, rotogravure, and digital effects, leading to an impressive panel of processes for the artists to discover.
Another materiality for artwork, vertical and flat, which pursues the scope of the creator’s experimentation.
All the Asteré collections are created by Garance Vallée, Porter Teleo and François Mascarello. 'We spend time with each artist to second hand them in exploring how to transpose their work to the wall, see how to seize the occasion to give it new effects, new tints, new aspects.
