Watertube - design Massimiliano Braconi
Watertube is a complete collection of taps with a truly innovative design. The simple, rounded lines, reminiscent of the water tube it takes its name from, are the ideal choice for anyone looking for beautiful design with a distinctive style. “I believe in simple visual languages, and in truly timeless products. For Watertube, my inspiration came from the classic public fountains of the past, out of which the water poured from a simple copper tube. What I was seeking to achieve was the primitive essence of that pure vision, transmitting it to a modern project perfect for a contemporary, industrial-style bathroom”. The designer Massimiliano Braconi describes how the project came about. Watertube is created in steel, and is available in all the PVD finishes, offering colour, design and innovation for a product that has no equal in the bathroom area.
Watt - design Q-Bic
Watt is the brand-new series of single-lever and thermostatic valves for built-in showers, inspired by the world of lighting. “The world of electricity was part of my family background, which re-emerged while I was designing this new collection”, explains Q-Bic’s Marco Baldini. “This prompted me to give the range a vintage look reminiscent of the old-style electrical plates, obviously with a totally modern, designer slant. So then the name Watt came naturally”. The signature feature of the Watt range is the levers that turn the water on and off, adjusting the flow; these hallmark elements resemble light switches, while temperature is adjusted with a round knob. The collection is fashioned entirely in brass, and comes in a choice of several different finishes. Watt is the result of an impressive style and design effort, in which the creative skill of Q-Bic joined forces with the manufacturing expertise of Rubinetterie Treemme. This cooperation has brought to life a collection with a technological and functional design that has no equal.
Q30 - design Giampiero Castagnoli & Marco Pisati
Q30, designed by the architect Marco Pisati and the engineer Giampiero Castagnoli, is the result of a design engineering process that teams technical and functional research with sophisticated, timeless design. Minimalist and versatile, the Q30 series was derived from the need to create a tap model with a squared shape, with the accent on light, airy shapes. This result was achieved by using a special 22mm-diameter cartridge – the smallest brass cartridge on the market – created exclusively for Rubinetterie Treemme, and a Neoperl aerator with a diameter of 16.5 mm. Q30 is made from brass, and is available in a variety of finishes, including chrome, brushed nickel, white, black, brushed black chrome and rose gold. This collection of taps with a contemporary flavour can adapt easily to a variety of styles, and is aimed at customers attentive to innovation and seeking cutting-edge shapes.
T30 - design Giampiero Castagnoli & Marco Pisati
Perfectly balanced, rigorous shapes, teamed with impressive functional reliability, make the T30 mixer tap suitable for any bathroom area. T30 is a collection of brass mixer taps with minimalist lines. The T30 tap has a distinctive, extremely sophisticated, light, circular silhouette, thanks to the minimal dimensions of the sections. This effect was obtained using the 22mm-dimeter cartridge and an innovative Neoperl aerator with a diameter of just 13.5 mm.The hallmark feature of the T30 model is the distinctive mixing lever, which also comes with an elegant, ridged texture that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical for improved grip. This detail is a smooth complement to the light, slim body.
IOS - design Marco Pisati e Giampiero Castagnoli
IOS is a complete series of designer taps inspired by the shapes of the past. The designer Marco Pisati and the engineer Giampiero Castagnoli have succeeded in their attempt to create a timeless, limitless line of taps.
IOS is a minimal yet complex tap, inspired by the classic “Orders” of architecture. The model’s distinctive base, shaft and grooves are reminiscent of ancient Doric columns, adding some beautiful detail. The lever and the water outlet mouth have clean-cut, rigorous lines, while the body is perfectly cylindrical. In this collection, contrasting geometries and lines, from softer to sharper, more distinct shapes, are combined in perfect harmony. The IOS collection can be supplied with all the company’s galvanic finishes.
Kea - design Marco Pisati & Giampiero Castagnoli
One of the most distinctive, popular taps by Rubinetterie Treemme is the Kea model. This model is a celebration of the aesthetic canons of the past, teaming them with modern technological applications. The signature features of Kea include the grooved mouth, inspired by ancient Greek columns, while the joysticks recall architectural fragments of classic temples. Fashioned in brass, Kea is available in numerous finishes, with coordinated joysticks, as well as two brand-new custom versions: in marble, available in a variety of colours, or in crystal, illuminated from the inside with a system of miniature LED lights that come on when the tap is used. This collection is perfect for more classic bathrooms, but is also ideal to add character to a more modern, minimal, contemporary setting.
3.6 - design Giampiero Castagnoli
The 3.6 model is in stainless steel, with a large cylindrical body that strikes a contrast with the very slender spout, studied using an innovative technology that allows the water to flow through just a few millimetres. Rubinetterie Treemme has added new PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) finishes to the collection, in the colours gold, bronze and black. PVD is a particular coating method that allows for the use of truly innovative, bright colours, perfect for bringing a touch of originality and character to even the simplest of taps. The use of this technology testifies to Rubinetterie Treemme’s commitment to the environment and the close attention paid to eco-sustainability. Applied to steel, a naturally recyclable material, this process does not produce polluting elements and does not create chemical waste, so it has zero environmental impact. The collection also includes an electric version – 3.6 Elettronico – in which design and technology converge in a project that adapts perfectly to the latest demands of an increasingly digital, connected market. 3.6 Elettronico can be activated with a touch of the fingertips, or connected to smart digital assistants like Alexa, which can be used to control the mixer tap.
5mm - design Giampiero Castagnoli, Emanuel Gargano, Marco Fagioli
5mm is one of the best known and most successful lines from Rubinetterie Treemme. Over recent years, this model has won numerous awards. Five millimeters is in fact the constant thickness, not only when the water flows out from the mouth, but also of the inner passage with all its mixing dynamics. This patent in fact allows the passage of water in five mm also in the flat version. The use of a single thickness for all the tap components, for the control levers and also for the applications of the series make the 5mm design light and imperceptible. It represents technology studied in detail to ensure an innovative appearance, a cutting-edge line and at the same time is testament to the great attention paid to ecosustainability and water saving by the company.
The new shower heads
Rubinetterie Treemme offers a variety of solutions to make the bathroom a temple to well-being such as the new shower heads Loop, Sipario and Origami.
Loop, designed by Phicubo and Giampiero Castagnoli
From the orbits drawn by the hula hoop of our childhood comes the inspiration for the new Loop shower head. Loop is composed of three different elements: two circles kept together by a circular element that intersect to create an impressively striking model. Three separate functions that engage with one another and are perceived by the “spectator” as a perfectly tuned composition of light and rainfall and jet water flow.
Sipario, designed by Phicubo and Giampiero Castagnoli
Sipario is a swivel shower head with a minimal, careful design. Like a shell that conceals its efficiency within, the squared section is attractively softened at the edges, making this model ideal for contemporary living spaces with a modern style and cutting-edge shapes. Style teams with function, for a shower head able to bring character to the bathroom area. Created in steel and brass options, Sipario is available in both a ceiling and a wall-mounted version. The ceiling version comes in two variants, the first with a vigorous water flow and the second with a more gentle jet, depending on individual preference. Fitted inside the wall version is an innovative flow splitter with a piston that clicks into place to easily deliver two vigorous and two more relaxing shower jets.
Origami, designed by Phicubo and Giampiero Castagnoli
A fine sheet of paper ready to be folded and modelled into endless shapes. It is this oriental art that has inspired Origami, one of the new shower heads by Rubinetterie Treemme. Origami has the appearance of a sheet of stainless steel that offers a tantalising glimpse of the world hidden above the ceiling. The fold of the shower head allows you to direct the waterfall jet.
