Billiani brings colour to Orgatec
16/10/2018 - Even at the upcoming Cologne office fair, Billiani presents its new collections, on Volumi stand designed by Luigi Billiani himself together with Billiani art director Lara Vidotto. The combination of distinctive blue, teal and coral shades will be a clear invitation to consign to the past any notions of dull and dreary work environments.

As the traditional concept of the office gradually opens up to connections and makes room for new airy and green environments, Billiani's Wood & Colour and the corporate world gravitate towards each other: working environments are broken down to become freer, ever-changing relationships between people, information and places become more fluid, atmospheres become fresh and positive. In response to these needs, the Billiani colours make spaces vibrate with energy and stamp a strong identity through finishes that warm, harmonize, brighten, welcome, and relax.

From 23rd to 27th October, Billiani will be meeting new and existing partners amidst a selection of furniture designed to make work spaces livable and lively, characterizing break-out and waiting areas with cosy lounge chairs and wingbacks; meeting and brainstorming rooms with a wide range of tables and chairs; and communal social areas with poseur tables and barstools.

DOLL

DOLL

DOLL STEEL STOOL - Design Emilio Nanni
The metal-based stool Doll now completes the broad Doll collection, standing out through its lightness to reach new heights, specifically bar height, and around poseur tables in cafés, receptions and public spaces. Available with seat in stained or lacquered wood; or upholstered.
GRAPEVINE

GRAPEVINE

GRAPEVINE TABLES - Design Egidio Panzera
The collection of Grapevine tables, is now joined by the version with tempered glass top. A stylishly appealing family offering every solution for the function of a space. The geometric and neo-cubist base can have many types of top fitted to make Grapevine tables super elegant, perhaps with a cool vintage look, or perhaps more distinctively versatile with a touch of colour.
PUCCIO

PUCCIO

PUCCIO TABLES - Design Emilio Nanni
Puccio 721 e 722 are stable but lightweight tables, characterized by a metal structure inspired by milking stools, objects from a recent but already evaporated past. Puccio recalls those rural elements, finding a way to relocate them with post-modern skill in the cosmopolitan contexts of today.
LILLIPUT

LILLIPUT

LILLIPUT COFFEE TABLES - Design Studioventotto
Lilliputs are rather low coffee tables, made of solid or lacquered ash wood, with two contrasting natural wood knobs winking at you cheekily. And one's gaze inevitably falls on this visual feature of only marginal appearance, which nonetheless embellishes and highlights a key component of the project. These knobs allow Lilliput to be flat-packed for swift and environmentally friendly transport. At the 2017 edition of the Salone Satellite in Milan, Lilliput won the heart of Luigi Billiani, who immediately started its development. The Lilliput Steel, with steel legs and without knobs, and the third highest version have been added to the preview of 2017 and now complete the collection.
LAYER

LAYER

LAYER ARMCHAIR - Design Michael Geldmacher
Layer is an armchair made of ash wood, stained or lacquered, whose profile stands out in any context. Its characteristic silhouette comes from the cohesion of the two main components: wood and upholstery. The frame of the armchair, indeed, seems to absorb the multi-layer wood armrest which, in turn, reaches the seatback’s upholstery. Continuity and linearity of design and material contribute to Layer uniqueness.
TANGO

TANGO

TANGO COATSTAND - Design Timo Ripatti
Tango gets to the very heart of wood itself, building into a pure and iconic object all the force and nature of this warm, living material through the best tradition of Scandinavian design. The quirky twisting in the middle conjures up that fluid dialogue between bodies which is so fascinating in the tango. Available also with additional hooks.
