miniature steel house designed and produced in collaboration with
CEADESIGN will honour the
Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 jury members. This small but precious piece of architecture becomes a 'Seal' of that sensibility and expertise with which the jury metaphorically leaves its mark as an interpreter of the signs of contemporaneity.
A major internationally-recognised design award needs a symbol to embody the values it celebrates. Innovation, strength, courage and total dedication of companies, constantly engaged in the mad work of research and innovation, and their designers who play a vital role in the creative process. The Archiproducts Design Awards pay tribute to this commitment and excellence with two trophies. The first is
a sculptural object for the brand winnders inspired by the 'Möbius strip', designed by MUT Design and fabricated by De Castelli. The second is a natural marble monolith, made by Salvatori to a design by Michael Anastassiades, as
an icon/object for the designers of the winning products.

An absolute debut for the 2022 edition is a third object, destined to become another important symbol of the Archiproducts Design Awards. Conceived and designed especially for the ADA jury, it is not an award in this case, but a recognition and you to honour each juror's valuable contribution to a complex evaluation process that requires great knowledge and sensitivity.
"It is a 'Seal'," explains Enzo Maiorano, Art Director and co-founder of Archiproducts, "that symbolises the sensibility and expertise with which each juror has read and interpreted the signs of contemporary design, in terms of aesthetics and content, in each product submitted to this edition of the ADAs".
The miniature steel house designed and produced as the superimposition of two volumes in collaboration with CEADESIGN is a precious and essential object that reproduces the archetypal form of a house. eometric simplicity becomes a metaphor for a much richer and more complex concept: the DWELLING as a container of experience and passion for architecture and design.
"For us, the miniature house created for the Archiproducts Design Award 2022 Jury," comments Roberta Bertacco, founder of CEADESIGN, "is 'The Nest of Experience' - a cradle, a safe place that encloses and welcomes experience, knowledge and passion for architecture and design."
A layered metaphor.
The miniature steel house by CEADESIGN for the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 represents KNOWLEDGE as a concept and DOING as construction. It is, above all, a tribute to the professional skills that contribute to the realisation of any project. For each product, the jury assessed the synthesis of this KNOWLEDGE and DOING - the result of close collaboration between brand and designer.
The seal/house designed for the ADA jurors also represents Archiproducts, an enormous container of knowledge for the building and architecture sector. It is an ideal project that comes to fruition - a large online platform that gathers know-how from manufacturers all over the world, making it available to architects.
Finally, the steel house created for the ADA 2022 jury is a container of CEADESIGN's experience and knowledge of and passion for steel.
"The idea for the miniature house," Roberta Bertacco reveals, "came from a piece that we have owned since 2003 - a dedication to my husband Natalino Malasorti from the Swedish artist Mats Berguist, with whom he had a deep friendship. With this work, which is called 'The Architect's Dream', the artist wanted to tell the story of all architects who, like Natalino, manage to make dreams come true. What inspired him was Natalino's experience. He veered away from the world of thermo-hydraulics to design complex made-to-measure projects and eventually create his own brand, Ceadesign, managing to build a name upon his know-how.
In the same way, the steel house we conceived for the ADA 2022 Jury represents the concrete manifestation of a project that could otherwise remain just a dream… I have reached the road's end, and everything is inside the house. There is perfect assonance between a house representing construction and the realisation of a design idea."
