26/09/2024 - Inspired by traditional materials used in architecture and created with innovative digital printing technologies, the new Ceramica Sant'Agostino coverings presented at Cersaie 2024 bring ceramics ever closer to the tactile and visual sensations of natural materials: marble, wood, plaster and stone. The new Carve3D digital printing technology from the Superior Technology program creates surface movement thanks to the use of reserving and sinking glazes. Integrated with the graphics, this dynamism creates an overall effect that gives greater three-dimensionality to the product, both visually and tactilely.

This is how the new collections of Ceramica Sant’Agostino coverings were born. Two collections, NOVART and IRO, are inspired by concrete. The WINDSTONE collection captures the essence of stone, while BIT recreates the aesthetic of brick. The marble and stone-inspired series features GLOW, reminiscent of Venetian terrazzo; INVICTUS CROSS, an homage to travertine veining; and EXTRA, which mimics the distinctive characteristics of Bergstone. Wood finishes return with the GRACEWOOD collection.

NOVART unites the rational lines of concrete with the decorative appeal of mosaic. IRO draws on the texture and soft patterns of plaster to create wall coverings available in subtle, rich tones or vibrant bursts of colour. Among the new stone-effect wallcoverings, WINDSTONE brings a sense of calm and visual serenity to spaces.  The BIT collection, featuring a 5x20 cm matte-finish terracotta, transforms traditional brick into a contemporary wall tile. The new marble and travertine-effect ceramic surfaces include GLOW, which reinvents Venetian terrazzo with a silky texture and neutral colour palette.  INVICTUS CROSS, part of the Invictus collection, introduces cross-cut travertine veining instead of the longitudinal with the same colour palette, adding dynamic movement to the tiles. The EXTRA collection, available in the large 120x278 cm format with a 6 mm thickness, adds three new colours to the Bergstone-effect series. With this expansion, the range now includes 19 pieces, showcasing iconic designs in slab format. Finally, the wood-effect GRACEWOOD collection - true to its name -  brings a harmonious aesthetic to spaces.
