Ceramics Becomes Architecture in a New Boutique of Taste

10/03/2023 - The marble-effect ceramic Casalgrande Padana becomes the architectural shell of the interiors of the Buza Gelato Gallery, the new boutique of flavour in Tel Aviv designed by architects Simon Baranzin and Jonathan Canetti (Studio S.B.). Floors, walls, counters and stairs are dressed in porcelain stoneware from the Marte collection, in a shade of green that recalls the natural landscape of Buza, the place of origin of ice cream. A simple and modern ice cream factory at the foot of Mount Meron, where the marble-effect ceramic of Casalgrande Padana is not only used in a decorative dimension, but becomes a founding architectural element. The key idea of the project was to create seamless surfaces using the same 30x60 porcelain stoneware from the Marte collection in the color Verde Guatemala. High definition graphics and shades of color highlight the uniqueness of every single detail between shades of gray and intense colors, inspired by the beauty of natural marble for new compositional solutions of floor or wall covering. The porcelain stoneware by Casalgrande Padana is non-absorbent, ecological and eco-compatible.
