26/02/2020 - Schönbuch presents the CHARPAI daybed by Hanne Willmann. The collection is a minimalist, multi-functional interior highlight with a clear, contemporary feel. It is inspired by the traditional Indian charpoy, used for sitting or reclining.
CHARPAI is made of solid oak and nished with natural oil or open-pore lacquer. With a range of colours to choose from and three at cushions to arrange as required, it is easy to make CHARPAI your own.

The cushions can be covered in a choice of hard-wearing, high-quality fabrics and leathers. With various colours to choose from, they can also be used to set an accent in the room.
A special coating on the underside of the fabric keeps them rmly in position, and they can also be used as a backrest if CHARPAI is positioned against a wall. Measuring 200 x 70 cm, the elegant, purist daybed is an open invitation to take a power nap, but it can also be used as a bench or for storage in hallways, to seat guests in the living room, or — with the upholstery removed — as a generous side table for magazines and books. The luxurious, extra-deep bench also works well in of ces, hotel rooms and waiting areas. A unique design for multiple purposes.
