The rational, versatile new Adena chair is a refined creation by Gonçalo Campos. It presents a magnificently balanced blend of quality and designer appeal steeped in practicality, softness and solidity. Conceived to cater effectively to the needs of the contract market, its style stays true to a manufacturing tradition that follows sound construction rules: it has a strong, durable and sturdy shape. The structure is made of solid wood and designed to be stackable. It comes with a choice of wooden finishes and various fabric options for the versions with padded seats and/or backrests.

Even the solid wood version of Adena has an ergonomic, comfortable seat that is exceptionally soft. As well as the materials chosen, softness is also a key component of the very design of the chair. Its sweeping, winding lines give it a contemporary look that is underlined by the way in which the backrest almost seems to float above the seat.  Bias, Crassevig

Among the novelties of this year also a project that expands and transforms the previous collection. The Bias cylindrical table by David Geckeler and Frank Michels is in fact a lounge chair by combining a few geometric elements in contrast with each other in shapes and volumes.

"It all began with the idea of a fluttering sheet of paper resting gracefully on a sloping cylinder. The minimalist body calls to mind Finnish chairs made of sheets of wood".  Bias, Crassevig

The anniversary also marks the opening to new forms of design: first of all the color, which will dye the chairs and tables on display in Rotterdam with unprecedented colors. It is in fact a saturated palette, designed to enrich the latest collections and give the historical collections a contemporary interpretation. From royal blue to dark green, up to nude pink, Crassevig intercepts trends, remaining faithful to its distinctive trait inspired by Nordic rigor.
