14/02/2025 - Danish brand Audo and Aleksandar Lazic continue their collaboration by adding the Reverse Wall Lamp and the Reverse Table Lamp, Portable, to the popular 2020 collection. Both versions feature the truncated textured travertine conical structure that contrasts and complements the sleek surface of the dome-like bronze anodized aluminum shade.
Travertine, which first appears as the structural base, reemerges at the top as part of the mechanism that secures the shade. This material continuity creates a visual link between the foundation and the fastening element, reinforcing overall cohesion. The repetition of the material at a different scale and function highlights its dual role—as a grounding element and structural anchor—while maintaining a balanced relationship between material and form.
The fixtures are compositions in geometric form, with soft light spilling onto the wall or supporting surface, resulting in a subtle interplay of shadow and radiance; they can be modulated by the dimmer provided in models conceived for both private and contract spaces.
