The intense colours of nature and the power of Mediterranean landscapes inspire all Ethimo collections. This characteristic, and the natural outdoor location, conditions the choice of quality materials that maintain their efficiency over time, even when subjected to the constant action of atmospheric agents.
In its first 10 years of activity, Ethimo has happily experimented with different aesthetic codes, collaborating with such international designers as Luca Nichetto, Christophe Pillet, Patrick Norguet, Matteo Thun with Antonio Rodriguez, Paola Navone.
Esedra, designed by Luca Nichetto, is pure creativity in the use of material. The name evokes a perfect balance of enveloping forms and materials that transmit new tactile and visual perceptions. Solutions suggesting atmospheres of relaxation and wellness arise from the union of aluminium and teak with synthetic fibres, produced by a special technology that recreates the handcrafted and warm sensations of natural woven fibres.
Grand Life, conceived by Christophe Pillet, embodies its meaning in its name. Grand Life conjures images of places of timeless beauty, fascinating and relaxed atmospheres, panoramas arousing moods of serenity, and outdoor spaces that welcome furnishings with a restrained and warm style. An authentic expression of the Italian Way of Life.
With Grand Life, Ethimo and Christophe Pillet celebrate creativity, the distinctive culture of Italian design.
A true icon among Ethimo's outdoor selections, Knit was born in 2014 from the partnership with Patrick Norguet. Every season, the collection is enriched with new elements. For 2020, a comfortable sofa and an enveloping armchair narrate a 'new episode' in an increasingly complete and continuously evolving lounge and dining collection thanks to the desire to investigate ever-changing volumes, finishes and fabrics, while always maintaining Knit's unmistakable and distinctive features. In fact, the two new outdoor creations reflect the collection's signature 'genetic makeup' defined by the union of natural or pickled teak with the woven rope structure of the seat.
Allaperto Mountain, the lounge collection by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, is the first collection designed to enhance outdoor spaces in a mountain context. Natural and pickled teak together with innovative fabrics and coverings and original fittings create furnishings and accessories that can withstand harsher temperatures and preserve their natural beauty over time.
Swing, the collection designed by Patrick Norguet in 2015 and presented in the 2016 catalogue, is enriched season after season with new elements that make it ever more complete. Swing comes to life from an 'architectural game' of repeated teak elements fixed to an aluminium structure, creating comfortable seats that are perfect for the outdoors, complementing living areas with personality.
Dining tables and chairs, stools, lounge and club chairs, sofas (modular or not), rocking chairs, coffee tables: a complete collection that can satisfy every need for comfort in moments of relaxation and conviviality, creating new experiences in wellness.
Rafael, the collection created by the vision of Paola Navone, enhances the materiality of wood and the craftsmanship of its fabrication. The project stems from the designer's ability to interpret and reinvent the aesthetic and formal inspiration of distant cultures and landscapes together with Ethimo's passion for creating an ideal and harmonious relationship between furniture and its surrounding context. Rafael is a collection of lounge furniture that evokes the essence of exotic places, suggesting sensations of well being and generating new experiences in open-air living.
