Maison & Object in Paris
Ex.t showcased
Nudo, a multifunctional modular system brainchild of the first collaboration with the Spanish design studio
MUT.
At the same time, Ex.t launched a series of new editions of its famous collections Frame and Stand, along with a new finish for Felt shelving system, Hang seating and Rest pouf. All signed by the Danish studio Norm Architects.
Ex.t introduces Nudo, a multifunctional wall-mounted or hanging system designed by the Spanish designers and founders of the MUT studio Alberto Sanchez and Eduardo Villalon. Featuring different modules in two dimensions and a light airy metal structure available in black and brass, Nudo is a versatile object conceived to meet many interior requirements.
A series of accessories like mirrors, container trays and different leather pockets complete the composition turning Nudo into a functional dividing panel as well as a shelving system; a towel hanger or a vanity mirror depending on your needs.
Ex.t is presenting an exclusive brass and bronze edition of the original Frame, the modular furniture system winner of the EDIDA Award 2017 for the category “Bathroom” designed by Norm Architects. Brass & bronze finish, smoked oak and Navona travertine are the features chosen to complete the collection along with the classic finish of black matte metal, ILivingTec® solid surface and Serena stone. As well as Frame, also the Felt grid is unveiled in a new brass edition. Embodying a Nordic attitude with the Italian core of traditional craftsmanship, the collections are made to meet the needs of a design and interior industry which is always looking for versatile bathroom furniture.
Stand line by Norm Architects, an iconic collection inspired by the lightness and elegance of cast iron details of the 1920s and 1930s interiors, is presented in a brass finish both for the bathtub and the oval washbasin; along side its classic editions in black and white. To complete the collection Hang stool is presented with a new upholstery in Nubuck, and the Rest pouf alike.
