Among the many surprises at the brand's extensive Mediterannean-themed exhibition space at this year's Salone del Mobile, Expormim unveiled Cask collection, again by Norm Architects, initially introduced as an indoor line in 2021, this year revamped for exterior use without compromising its original essence.

By replacing rattan and upholstery with resilient materials like aluminum and outdoor-friendly fabrics, the collection seamlessly combines classicism, simplicity and the characteristic attention to detail that the design firm has  pursued since its inception.

The brand also showcased the Loop chair by Norm Architects, paying homage to timeless rattan, a natural material traditionally used by the brand, which possesses both delicate aesthetics and outstanding longevity.

Carefully crafted, the curvilinear form of the Loop chair, its flexible backrest and refined lines harken to the iconic café chairs of Vienna and Paris. In the words of their designers: "Loop is our take on the classic multipurpose chair: a dining chair, a café chair, a kitchen chair, a balcony chair, that extra chair in a nice corner or in the hallway. The reason is its construction, both classic and modern, an approach that makes it versatile and elegant, fit to any place and occasion. A chair that never grows old."
