Fluid and Technological. Light by Cini&Nils
25/06/2019 - Cini&Nils is pleased to present a series of new products for 2019 that meet the latest market demands for living in an increasingly intelligent and interactive environment that communicates with the user and reacts to stimuli in a smart way.
The new Cini&Nils lamps, fitted with the most advanced Smart Lighting technology, are able to dialogue with the latest generation of IoT devices, including Casambi and the Amazon Alexa and Google voice assistants.

Fludd - design Alessandro Scandurra, 2018
The architect Alessandro Scandurra wanted to create a lamp whose performance and aesthetic affinities would make it suitable for installation in his architectural projects. The result was Fludd, a fluid and reflective disk of light that reveals a vibrant soul inside.
Fludd

Fludd

Fludd is all about the alchemy of light. Its shape is closely related to the physics of light diffusion and diffraction. It is not so much an object as a device, whose simplicity transforms it into an iconic, almost intangible symbol', says Alessandro Scandurra.
When it is switched on, it gets a three-dimensional look, when off it becomes an almost ethereal object. Presence and absence coexist in a continuous balance in Fludd.

An indoor suspension and ceiling lamp for diffused light whose intensity can be adjusted using the traditional dimmers or push-buttons and the latest generation of IoT devices, including Casambi and the Amazon Alexa and Google voice assistants.

The anti-glare mini-prisms of the transparent disc break down the light and concentrate it downwards, giving shape to an unusual optical effect.
The suspended version is suitable for installation at any height and the ceiling version also illuminates the ceiling.
The luminaire’s high colour rendering index (CRI) guarantees respect for colour perception and correct ambient light.

Sferico sospeso - design Luta Bettonica, 2018
A twin-emission indoor suspension luminaire for direct and indirect light that can be dimmed using traditional controls and Casambi.
The new built-in Casambi technology makes even easier managing light by creating different scenarios, also remotely by means of smartphones, tablets and any kind of device.

Available in white for interiors characterized by an essential style, matt gold and silver for a touch of light and elegance to your room and it comes with transparent methacrylate domes with focusing lenses for accent lighting or opalescent lenses for soft diffused lighting.

The elegant little 14 cm diameter sphere makes the cable-mounted version ideal for small and medium-sized spaces and the suspended version ideal for multiple installations also thanks to a ceiling rose accessory that enables to connect in series several luminaires.
The luminaire’s high colour rendering index (CRI) guarantees respect for colour perception and correct ambient light.

Stilo sospeso - design Luta Bettonica, 2018
An indoor suspension lamp with diffused, twin-emission lighting, that can be controlled using traditional dimmers or push-buttons and the latest generation of IoT devices, including Casambi and the Amazon Alexa and Google voice assistants.
Stilo sospeso

The “smart lighting” concept is becoming more and more important for Cini&Nills, in order to enable the user to manage light in a safe and easy way and lower costs, by connecting over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, also remotely.
Stilo sospeso is available in the elegant matt white and black finishes for refined contrasts or harmonious combinations with any interior.

The lighting body with diffusors in opalescent methacrylate for a direct and indirect diffused light is 29 cm long in the cable-mounted version and 120 cm long in the new suspended version.

The ceiling rose can be installed anywhere near the luminaire, on the contrary the version with a remote power supply doesn't need it and it is ideal for installation in series.
The luminaire's high colour rendering index (CRI) guarantees respect for colour perception and makes it suitable for any kind of location.

Cuboluce wireless - design Franco Bettonica, Mario Melocchi 1972-2018
The iconic lamp Cuboluce, designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi in 1972, evolves in the new wireless version.
Since it is fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can function autonomously for eight hours, Cuboluce has become wireless and can follow you anywhere to illuminate every corner of your home.

This innovation means that you can place the lamp wherever you like in the home, so that it really serves your needs, but in a way that is also well suited to contract interiors.
Cuboluce breaks out of the confines set by the power cable, undergoing a transformation that takes it from being an icon of design history to a beacon that also shows the way towards the future.

Forget fumbling for the light switch: when you open the lid, the light goes on and it emits a concentrated light beam that can be directed using the reflector lid, when you close it, the light goes off.
Cuboluce is available in ten finishes. The latest versions are the velvety, elegant Denim silk lacquer and Green silk lacquer finishes that add that special touch of refinement to any interior.
