The nuances of marble for large FMG slabs

15/02/2023 - FMG technical ceramic surfaces celebrate the solemnity of marble in the Patagonia MaxFine collection. Weaves of shapes and colors are inspired by natural stone, between shades of white, sand and brown with gold, copper and bronze streaks. Thanks to a mix of design and research, the new FMG collection can also become a hi-tech capacitive surface, or Hypertouch.

In the Hypertouch version, the Patagonia MaxFine surface is equipped with electrical capacity: through the integration of specific home automation sensors, it is possible to interact and control audio-based systemsvideo and windows, lighting and thermoregulation systems with minimal pressure on the plate itself. FMG technical ceramic surfaces are designed to facilitate their cleaning: in the Active Surfaces, Patagonia MaxFine is presented as an eco-active material, patented and certified according to ISO standards with antibacterial and antiviral properties (also anti- Covid-19)anti-pollution, anti-odor and self-cleaning. Innovative properties that do not exhaust over time and are durable throughout the life cycle of ceramic slabs. The FMG Patagonia MaxFine technical ceramic surface is available in two finishes: Pre-finished for a more natural result; Lapped that enhances the depth of the texture with a glossy/matt effect of the surface. The large MaxFine slabs - produced on sizes of 300x150, 150x150, 150x75, 75x75, 75x37,5 cm with a thickness of 6 mm - are suitable for custom processing to create functional and work tops, tables and furniture, covering columns, doors and fireplaces, suitable for floor and wall installation.
