FontanaArte reissues the pieces, acclaimed and collected all over the world, in a Limited Edition of 400 pieces, numbered and customized.
For Tavolo con Ruote, Gae Aulenti was inspired by an industrial trolley used in the FontanaArte headquarters to transport glass in the warehouse. It was 1980. The wooden surface of the trolley was replaced by a glass plate, iconic material for the Company’s production, to which the free-moving industrial wheels were then fixed.
For the limited edition of 2020, the famous industrial trolley wheels are available in white galvanized metal. The tempered glass top is also customized and numbered.
The Parola table lamp was designed in 1980 by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni. It is the perfect example of technical integration between craftmanship, industry and design. Three different types and processes of glass coexists within this exquisitely balanced and light object: blown, natural and natural crystal. A perfect opal sphere, perforated in the upper part; its support: a transparent concave stem that holds the thread and rests in a circular base as thick as ethereal.
The Limited Edition is issued in only 400 pieces in the table version with white glass diffuser; today it is presented with a customized and numbered glass base.
