10/10/2019 - On the occasion of Cersaie, Emilgroup presented the novelties of the group's brands: the revisited marble of Emilceramica, the sown by Ergon, the antiquated aesthetics of Viva and the Mexican inspirations of Provenza. Giorgia Gallaro, Emilgroup's Digital Marketing and Communication Manager, tells the story of the new collections.
Tele di Marmo Revolution by Emilceramica
Originating from the idea of reinterpreting the timeless beauty of marble for contemporary taste, Revolution offers unconventional sizes, introducing new colours and intriguing combinations and enhancing expressive potential through new stylistic languages.
Four new natural and semi-polished marbles find their most exquisite expression in the large slabs. Calcite white comes from the Greek island of Thassos. Porcelain stoneware clad in pure white, inspired by the most limpid, essential form of white marble, which shaped the identity of classicism. Calacatta Black marble transfers this same elegance into an alternative colour universe, which encapsulates every shade of deep black, interspersed with grey, yellow and brown veins. Blue in all its thousand shades from azure to cobalt is the central theme of the Blu Ande variant, referencing the beauty of the 'marble cathedrals' on Lake General Carrera, between Argentina and Chile.
Verde Saint Denis is the very essence of nature, the colour of emerald, where aesthetic daring and the drive for authenticity meet, adding the noble beauty of marble to the most contemporary architectural projects.
Evolving fresh colours and patterns, the Tele di Marmo Revolution project continues to reinterpret marble in a contemporary key by extending the range with the Acanto pattern. Here the influence of artistic mosaic is clear, expressed through the use of precise, finely judged geometric motifs. Powerful and eye-catching, the acanthus leaves represented define a new, unique style, with subtle, tasteful shades and flawless details.
Medley by Ergon
Venetian Seminato or Terrazzo flooring was created in Italy by master-craftsmen. The reworking of this symbol of pure classical style for contemporary taste has created the Medley collection. An abacus of ceramic materials, conceived for architectural design and experimentation.
The collection comprises two concrete variants, Minimal and Tecnica, together with 3 Venetian Terrazzo versions, Classic, Rock and Pop, which differ in the size and shape of their constituent pieces. The geometrical interweavings evoke the principle of the original Terrazzo compositions, while surpassing it and evolving it towards a new concept in which graphics and colours experiment with new combinations, merging in a higher degree of creative freshness.
Narciso is an original collection inspired by the surfaces of antique mirrors, oxidized by atmospheric agents and dulled by the passage of time. Every detail is emphasized by the gloss semi-polished and matt semi-polished finishes, which produce original aesthetic and tactile effects. Available in four colours – Perla, Argento, Topazio and Zaffiro –, the collection is ideal for public and private areas with a striking visual impact. The Frammenti decor made from mirror shards harmoniously arranged on the surface, together with the Gemma decor which reproduces old stylized decorations, adorn the collection, adding further stylistic reflections.
The Ego collection, inspired by an ancient Mexican stone, tempered by the passing of time, features a surface that enhances its blend of granite and limestone. The effect is a varied design that enlivens the surfaces, which are available in four shades: Avorio, Sabbia, Grigio and Grigio Scuro. The collection is completed by the Trame decor, which, combined with the plain tiles, increases the number of design possibilities.
The Alter collection places an emphasis on nature and authenticity, celebrating different forms of exquisite reclaimed oak, processed and treated with coloured resin inserts. The final result is a perfect tactile balance, unusual versatility and a warm, natural charm that nicely adapts to contemporary style.
