GARO Electric's Charging Stations for Every Setting

Over the last 12 months, GARO Electric completed installations across high profile organizations including Facebook, Musgraves and the National Treasury Management Agency. Providing a complete EV range from Wall Mounted to Public Use Chargers all the way to Fast & Super Fast Stations, their engineers network also offers service, support and after care.

In many countries, EV owners & businesses can take advantage of government grants to purchase and install charging stations. For businesses & organizations, the benefits of installing EV charging stations are far reaching - if a car owner has the option to charge their EV on the premises, they are more likely to choose that location over other competitors.

GARO’s Product Development team continually develop and enhance the charging range to meet the future requirements of customers.

What types of chargers are appropriate for each setting?
A pure battery electric vehicle (BEV) has a range of up to 400km and is a good option for anyone wishing to drive an environmentally friendly and economical car. This type of car is primarily suited for shorter distances, particularly urban driving. GARO Electric's Charging Stations for Every Setting

The next level of car is a plug-in hybrid car (PHEV), which runs on petrol or diesel over longer distances. These cars also have an electric motor and a small battery pack that has a range of around 20-60km and are therefore suitable for both urban and country driving. Both of these types of vehicle can be connected to the ordinary electricity grid.

For charging at home or the workplace, a Wall Mounted charger is the most common option. With Garo’s GLB Charger, a hybrid EV can be fully charged in around 3 hours, and a pure electric EV in around 6 hours.

For public locations, car parks and larger workplaces, a faster, more robust option is appropriate. Built to withstand the elements, Garo’s LS4 Charger can charge a pure EV in just 3 hours. Its raft of features includes premium design, smart metering & connectivity and enhanced safety features.

With a charging time from as little as just 7 minutes, DC ‘Fast’ Chargers are the premium option for EV users. Mainly found in service stations, these high performance chargers allow owners to experience minimal disruption to their journeys.

All are fitted with cloud billing functionality to ensure total & accurate charging control for operators.
