An exciting lectio magistralis of the Architect Paolo Portoghesi tied up the award ceremony of the contest. Main theme of the speech was the architectural work Casa Baldi, a beautiful single-family house placed on the Roman hills, which was designed and built by a young Paolo Portoghesi between 1959 and 1961 and commissioned by Gian Vittorio Baldi, director and documentary maker. Nowadays Casalgrande Padana chose the exact expert Paolo Portoghesi, to restore Casa Baldi and transform it into the Casalgrande Padana Creative Center of Rome, right 60 years after its construction.
