Halo Wall. Minimalistic Light Sculpture
10/03/2020 - A suggestive ambient lighting that floats over the wall while at the same time bathing it with light. Halo Wall by Vibia is the new evolution as an aplique of Martín Azúa's Halo collection.

With a poetic distillation Azúa’s new lighting system surprises and invokes an impacting aesthetic experience. Its expression recalls the minimalist artistic movement that was so prevalent during the radical decade of the 1960s that made such an impact on the furniture design and the interior design projects and which remains popular till this day. “With Halo I wanted to bring light closer to people, so that it would accompany them. Although behind this proximity there’s a complex technical project” , says Martín Azúa.

The basic unit of Halo Wall is provided by a light rod that measures a meter in length. With its slim line linearity different graphic compositions are outlined that can be customised. The light bars, supported by an aluminium profile, can rotate forming parallel, perpendicular and inclined axes.

The modular nature allows for large configurations forming light murals, that are perfect for public and semi-public spaces for companies, cultural institutions and hotel establishments. With its double methacrylate diffuser the lamp generates an attenuated light in which the Led technology disappears. The material becomes transformed into an emerging light in a magical way.
