26/09/2023 - The new
Ideagroup bathroom furniture collections will be on display at
Cersaie 2023. The
Explore dynamic design exhibition concept expresses through the novelties - the ViaCondotti and Play furniture - and the iconic products - the Dogma, Dolcevita, Giove and Saturno furnishings, washbasins and accessories - the concept of dynamism in its possible configurations, expressed by modularity, by the color and movement of the surfaces or the textures of the wood finishes, marked by veins, knots and flames.
ViaCondotti bathroom furniture
The new collection, whose name is inspired by Rome's high-end shopping district, a fashionable street that embodies Italian taste and style worldwide, epitomises a desire to introduce a new vertical repeat pattern on cabinet fronts and sides: a ribbed pattern designed by Riccardo Gava, designer and art director at Ideagroup, inspires the entire collection. The shallow grooves that run across the surface create a play of light and shade that follows an irregular pattern, producing seamless visual appeal. A groove separates the base units from the worktops, adding height to the fronts: it runs along the three sides of the cabinet, adding levity without sacrificing functionality. The range is completed by wall and tall units with the same vertical fluted design and a practical push-pull opening mechanism. Cabinet fronts beautifully handcrafted with stunning three-dimensional visual appeal are available in Rovere with six finishes to choose from (sbiancato, naturale, visone, fumo, mattone, moro), in more than forty colours of the matt lacquer palette, and a plain finish in metal colours.
8mm thick Antracite colour drawers are the slimmest ever seen in the furniture segment, and are made from a single sheet of solid steel shaped and machined for maximum stability and durability. They are also available with Fumé glass sides, or made entirely of wood, in the same colours as the fronts.
Play bathroom furniture
A new collection of bathroom furniture that can be customised to create modern, dynamic solutions: Play has been designed with versatility and playful harmony in mind. Fronts feature a top recessed grip profile and are available in a plain version for a more minimalist look, or with a regular fluted pattern that also runs along the sides of the cabinet. Countless solutions can be created, combining trendy colours and modern wood textures that adapt beautifully to changing style requirements. The new collection comes as part of a revamping process of all entry-level collections by Ideagroup, which sees the introduction of antracite colour cabinet frames and the updating of standard finishes; also worthy of notice is the introduction of Mineralux and Mineralsolid tops in all colours of the Ideagroup lacquer palette.
New additions include a new Light sit-on washbasin in fumé glass, a new Laminam stoneware finish with a distinctive veined texture, and a new 12-mm thick stoneware with a stunning grit effect look and texture.
Dogma bathroom collection
The key focus of the
Dogma furnishing collection is on sleek geometric shapes and modular volumes enhanced by textured materials, such as Rovere wood, Stoneware and Marble. Vibrant lacquered finishes and meticulous attention to detail create a natural visual effect, transforming the bathroom into a peaceful sanctuary.
The restyling operation for the Dogma collection was driven by a profound revamping of modularity - which was extended to add more storage space - and adaptability to the needs of contemporary lifestyles. New functional and decorative elements have been added to the collection, including the Teorema handle and the Wall System, a shallow modular storage boiserie. The aluminium frame, which serves both structural and aesthetic purposes, is available in a range of metallic colours (Titanio, Oro, Rame) that make the base units visually lighter and enhance the iconic Dogma washbasin.
Five new colours for the Rovere finish (sbiancato, visone, fumo, mattone, moro) have been added to the existing Naturale finish. Fronts and sides can be clad with stoneware – textured or flamed – enhancing the elegant, sculptured appearance of the cabinets and contrasting with the translucent finish of the Fumé glass side shelves of the base units.
Dolcevita furnishings
A modern interpretation of timeless elegance and skilful craftsmanship,
Dolcevita is a bathroom furnishing collection in which materials are emphasised by the iconic, sinuous lines and wavy design of the modular units. Shadows and light alternate in a continuous interplay of subtle references, adding three-dimensional depth. The design concept behind the restyling of the Dolcevita collection focuses on new modularity options and an expansion of the range of textured finishes: four new colours for the Rovere wood finish (Sbiancato, Visone, Fumo, Mattone) have been added to the existing Naturale and Moro finishes. New marble countertop edge finish: a double groove on the edge is a new visual element that also serves as a no-drip edge.
In 2017 the Dolcevita collection received the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award, which every year recognises the best designer bathroom furniture projects.
Giove and Saturno washbasin
Giove is the new free-standing washbasin with a distinguishing wavy design. It is made of Cristalplant and can be lacquered on the outside, or both inside and outside in any colour of the Ideagroup palette.
Saturno is its 'alter ego': it's a monobloc washbasin with a smooth, pleasant-to-the-touch finish.
Modula accessories
A new collection of modular wall accessories – shelf, shelf with a soap dispenser and tumbler, towel rail and toilet roll holder – made of aluminium and available matt lacquered or in Metal Colours (Rame, Titanio, Oro).
Wall System
Wall storage system consisting of 18 cm deep floor-standing modules of different widths for storing small items and personal care products, or simply hiding the drain pipe of the washbasin. There is also a practical countertop concealed by the 125 cm high fronts. As the fronts extend beyond the cabinet carcase, they create practical finger pulls. Optional features: LED lights built into the side panel, complete with a sensor that turns on the light when the door is opened. Different modular arrangements are possible, featuring: free-standing washbasins, aluminium frames, floor-standing furnishing combinations with plinth, toilet sets.
The stand displays different home interiors that introduce the concept of total bathroom, spanning from bathroom décor to shower enclosures, bathtubs and decorative panel heaters. Ideagroup's narrative path will be complemented by shower enclosures and a more technical, informative area dedicated to bathtubs and shower trays, where the features of each product will be presented in detail, highlighting the endless possibilities for customised, made-to-measure projects.
