26/09/2022 - Dynamic geometries in wood, ceramic and marble: the new Impulso wooden tile by Corà Parquet designed by Pininfarina Architecture.

Presented on occasion of Cersaie 2022, Impulso collection transforms a static wooden surface into a dynamic one. Driven by an impulse – or a spontaneous desire to move – the nature of the wooden parquet transforms as it merges with other materials – ceramic stoneware or marble – in a progressive rhythm that flows into floors and walls.

The new Impulso wooden tile collection was designed and developed to begin from prestigious wood essences that are processed with sartorial mastery to maintain the aesthetic and tactile characteristics of their natural surface.
The new proposal of Corà designed by Pininfarina highlights the simplicity and beauty of a quadrilateral shape in a dynamic that animates horizontal and vertical surface coverings; the opposing direction of the wood veins in each element enriches the design, catches the eye, and highlights the moving spirit of “Impulso”.

The combination of warm wood essences with concrete look-like ceramic modules or fresh marble inserts stimulates your tactile experience and leaves material migration open to new functions that can connect indoor areas with outdoor areas, living rooms with kitchens, bedrooms with bathrooms.
Given that modern spaces have to embrace different usage patterns, the union of two materials on an unprecedented surface makes it possible to play with different gradients and compositions, creating different functions.

The three variations of Impulso, together with their colour shades, simulate vivacious or calm moods, enticing users to interact with spaces. The “Ombreggiato” gradient is dominated by shades of white and natural neutral colours, for balanced, timeless aesthetics; the “Mandorlato” gradient has warm, energising tones for decorating spaces with optimism; and finally, “Sottobosco” takes its inspiration from the freshness and softness of moss, immersing you in a wood or forest.

All the proposed Collection variations suggest the use of different tones of Corà wood mixed with Laminam ceramic tiles that have a material aspect; “Sottobosco”, in addition, introduces green onyx marble that looks like a ray of sunshine when backlit.
