13/04/2018 - After the success of the "Monkey Lamps" and "Mouse Lamps" designed for Seletti, Marcantonio decided to free his love for animals and create a self-produced collection of exclusive pieces for Galleria Rossana Orlandi, on show at the upcoming Milano Design Week 2018.  She’s in Love but She doesn’t know it yet | Ph. His passion for sculpture pushed him to look for more artistic, plastic subjects in order to better express the desire to use hands. His desire was to make large sculptures.

"I imagined a dreamlike scene, - said Marcantonio a dreamy giraffe that goes for a walk with a chandelier in its mouth, as enchanted she illuminates the road that runs, has its head in the clouds because it is in love.

She’s in Love but She doesn’t know it yet because the giraffe has the heart far away from his head! 'What a Boar!' The bored Boar who destroyed a brass chandelier and still squeezes the pieces between the teeth. What a Boar! | Ph. Marcantonio

'5 minutes alone ...' never leave a Jack Russel alone for 5 minutes because he disassemble the furniture, and 'Just a Drag' a sly gorilla that holds in his mouth a large component in brass as we could hold a big flower or a pipe ... just a drag precisely."

"I wanted to add to my sculptures these antique chandeliers -
the designer continues - to make them more exclusive and special, both for the brass components value and for the difficulty of the sculpture process that must be entirely done by hand around the piece of the chandelier. 5 minutes alone… | Ph. Marcantonio

To make the composition even more magical I left the electric cable as if it were torn, as if the animal had broken the piece recently,
but the light is still on.

The sculptures were made with my hands with the techniques of classical sculpture, first in clay then molded and finally reproduced and retouched."
