Kitchen Trends: Raw Rituals and New Classic
05/02/2019 - At Living Kitchen, Dekker again showed a number of high-profile novelties. Anyone who has visited the booth is now fully up to date with the latest developments in the field of kitchen worktops and accessories! Particularly inspiring were the Selsiuz cooking water tap designed by Gessi, the TopZero sinks, the matte-coloured AluSplash rear walls, the Quva vacuum machine, the xxinixx hob and the lighting from Jansen & de Bont. The booth also showed the latest cooker hoods and lighting from Wave.

At Dekker you saw the number one trends for 2019, Raw Rituals and New Classic, reflected in the worktops. There was a beautiful collection of 'marbles' in different materials and a minimalist cooking arrangement (with invisible xxinixx hob!) by Evora Ceramics in the sober Raw Rituals style. Just as striking were the Fenix NTM colours Forest Green and Night Blue in the warm but tough New Classic style. Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen

Dekker has expanded the AluSplash collection with ten matte colours. The colour palette represents the four elements: the warm and earthy tones (earth and air) give the kitchen a natural look, the water and fire tones give colour and contrast to the interior. The new AluSplash collection is characterized by the finish of the surface. The surface has a fine structure and is easy to keep clean. Because functionality and durability are also paramount in the matte colours.

Functional and durable solution against splashes
AluSplash is Dekker's solution against splashes. It is heat resistant, low maintenance and economical. The innovative, 4 mm thick rear walls are based on aluminium and are finished with a durable UV-resistant coating. The collection now comprises a total of twenty colours.  Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen

Jansen & de Bont lighting: sophisticated design
A functional lighting solution for the entire kitchen: that's why you choose Jansen & de Bont. Jansen & de Bont offers a total package of products that all stand out because of their sophisticated design. The advantages of Jansen & de Bont lighting: operable with hand gestures, energy-efficient LED lighting, light colour adjustment possible, sophisticated design, all products are fully recyclable.

TopZero sinks with a unique look
The latest stainless steel sinks from Dekker Zevenhuizen fit perfectly in the worktop. This installation method prevents damage to the rim of the worktop and gives it a unique look. Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen

The advantages of a TopZero sink: rimless - no visible edges, is delivered fully assembled, luxurious appearance, hygienic, possible in composite, ceramic, granite and Corian worktops.

Matching FENIX NTM sinks
Anyone who loves design and a clean look will choose a FENIX NTM kitchen worktop. Because now there is a sink that matches the colour of the worktop! Just like FENIX NTM, this sink has a beautiful matte look. It is highly scratch- and abrasion-resistant and resistant to boiling water, and can be easily cleaned with conventional household cleaners. The combination is especially clean-looking thanks to the perfect finish: thanks to the semi-substrate method, you can hardly see an edge. This not only looks great, but is also hygienic. After all, no food residue can get stuck at the rim of the sink. The sink is available in 50 x 40 cm. Dekker will deliver the sink from June in a number of popular colours.

Quva: vacuum made easy
The Quva vacuuming machine is a well thought-out device with which anyone can vacuum fresh products easily. The Quva ensures that food can be stored longer and that its quality and taste are preserved. This prevents food waste and saves money! Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen

The Quva comes with storage boxes, bags and a wine stopper. With the storage boxes, the products stay fresh longer, and the taste is preserved. And by vacuuming, the marinade is absorbed into the meat faster! The reusable bags are also suitable for sous-vide cooking. With the special wine stop, an opened bottle can be stored longer. The Quva is mounted under the kitchen worktop and therefore hardly takes up any space on the worktop. Due to a flat mounting method, it also has a clean look.

Selsiuz designed by GESSI
A real first at Living Kitchen was Selsiuz's 5-in-1 tap, which was developed in collaboration with Gessi. The tap has a special design: the metal base has a structure with a graphic pattern. The Selsiuz designed by Gessi is available in copper and gold finish, and of course in 'natural' stainless steel look. Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living KitchenDekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen

But the tap doesn't just have the looks, the performance isn’t bad, either! You can simply tap cold water, but also boiling, cooled and sparkling water. You can do this in no time, thanks to the electronic control. The tap comes with a titanium boiler and is available from the second quarter of 2019.

xxinixx underfitted induction hob
The 'invisible' hob was a striking feature at the LivingKitchen booth. An induction cooktop with 5 zones that is mounted under a 6 mm Evora Ceramics worktop. Later this year you will hear more from Dekker about the further development of this innovative induction cooktop! Dekker Zevenhuizen at Living Kitchen
