Slide celebrates Low Lita with a new nuance, born from the perfect match between Paola Navone’s creativity and the deep knowledge of Slide in the processing of plastic materials. Low Lita Anniversary is not a special edition, but it is unique: its black and white nuances are the result of the craftsmanship of rotational moulding; these nuances are not replicable so to personalize each low chair.
Low Lita Anniversary is shown in a Roberto Paoli setting and with a photo exhibition. The pictures are about Low Lita in the past, thanks to works by Giovanni Gastel, Claudio Bonoldi and Ezio Manciucca. At these pictures, Slide adds new pictures about the new product Low Lita Anniversary, thanks to collaboration of Piero Gemelli, Giorgio Possenti, Miro Zagnoli, Claudio Bonoldi and Ezio Manciucca.
Low Lita celebration let Slide to create a photographic path among past, present and future. The past, represented by the shots that portrayed Low Lita year after year and that “crowned” its success: a selection of photos where each one represents a fundamental goal of the product and that demonstrates its success year by year. The future, made possible by the visionary pictures of Bonoldi, Gemelli, Manciucca, Possenti and Zagnoli, who let themselves be inspired by the white and black colours of Low Lita Anniversary.
The present, which is expressed in the exposed armchair, enclosed in a shell that frames it and enhances its shape and colour. The special edition Low Lita Anniversary is 'the link between two opposites, black and white, that are present in the same chair', says Paola Navone. 'Low Lita Anniversary intensifies through the colour two realities that belong to different worlds and that have intrinsically characterized the creation of Low Lita: a hybrid, a bit afro and a bit pop.'
