11/03/2025 - On the occasion of Euroluce 2025, the new Luceplan lamps land at the Fair with proposals by Alessandro Zambelli and studio VANTOT. With a view to maximum configurability and versatility, the two lighting systems are designed to meet the needs in the contract, hospitality or residential world.

Limetry, designed by Alessandro Zambelli, represents a novel interpretation of a system for various configurations with a decorative approach, combining ambient lighting with functional spotlights that generate a harmonious, delicate effect in the surrounding spaces. The key element of the system is an initial rectangular module (12 cm in height, 4 cm in width) whose four vertices are fundamental for the connection of multiple parts: the electrical cables bring the polarities to the corners and ensure continuous power supply. Depending on the orientation of the module - horizontal or vertical – and on the way the various geometric forms are grouped, the result is a versatile lighting system.

The rectangular lighting module, also available in the 25 cm size with the same width, offers dual emission of diffused light, front and back. It is composed of a frame with a built-in LED source, uniformly lighting the screen – in transparent methacrylate featuring soft lines – located on both sides. The diffused effect is produced by the internal layers, composed of a light-guide and an opaline layer.

To enhance the new Limetry lighting system a vertical element replicates the rectangular geometry of the modules, with the insertion of a small cylinder (diameter 2.8 cm). This piece equipped with a lens emits the LED light only downward and upward, depending on the positioning. The body of the lamp that emits spot lighting with a full aesthetic effect is in aluminium, and echoes the design of the other modules thanks to the presence of the striped pattern. It can be installed by itself or combined with other elements on the four vertices to create constantly new configurations, or it can be combined with a prismatic disk capable of intercepting the light from the spot, softening it even more.

Limetry has been created to meet the needs of users thanks to its multiple configuration possibilities: from the module with spotlight placed over a bedside table to enhance the intimacy of a space, to the more complex image generated by the connection of multiple units. This new system can be used on a track or combined with an attachment, depending on the number of elements to be grouped. In all cases, the result is a precise design, also obtained thanks to the effect of gravity.

Liiu is the new, light and flexible system of suspension lamps designed by Vantot. An high-performance lighting designs whose main feature is an ethereal, poetic overall image. The basic structure is composed of electrified metal cables fastened to the ceiling and held in constant tension by counter-weights. The bodies of the lamps are positioned on the cables by means of two very light arms that support the luminous head and feature a spiral at the extremity. Assembly is simple and rapid, with a gesture that sums up the essence of the project.

The cables are wrapped around the rigid spiral of the arms in such a way that the structure of the lamp, besides its mechanical task of supporting the weight of the light sources, also conveys the current to the LED module placed inside the head of the unit. The effect of weight permits the luminous parts to remain in contact with the cables, guaranteeing continuous power supply. The light spreads through the conical diffuser, creating a soft, almost ethereal effect without ever becoming excessive.

Another demonstration of the system’s technical excellence is the way the luminous parts run along the electrified cables, aiming the light where it is needed while varying the configuration of the product. In this way, users can activate a design in continuous transformation, depending on the angle of observation. Liiu represents the perfect combination between the spectacular impact of its multiple configurations and their lightness, between functionality and an elegant, minimalist image, between the dynamism of its forms and their stability. It is a modular system that can be translated into preset or personalized forms, revealing its versatility and its ability to adapt to different settings: whether it takes on the character of a sumptuous chandelier, a luminous wall or a reading lamp, Liiu never loses its sculptural nature and its particular ability to always create a unique, new and dreamy atmosphere.
