19/03/2020 - The sinuous curves of a delicate metal ribbon shape the geometric outlines of the Makemake, the new Terraforma outdoor collection. The new brand, launched this year by Dèco, thus presents its first proposals for outdoor spaces: a welcoming open-air living room, small relaxing oases or cozy corners for a coffee break.
Makemake, designed by studioPANG, is composed of various products. The modular sofa, bench, tables, dining and lounge chairs, stools and sun lounger all meet the requirements of various spaces used for hospitality, guaranteeing the durability required by the contract industry. Thanks to their elegant, essential lines, and their convenience and comfort (the specially-designed upholstery in particular), these pieces can even be used to decorate the gardens and patios of private residences.
The powder coated aluminium and steel frame can be combined with seats, backrests and table tops in perforated aluminium or with select FSC-certified natural teak slats. The structural materials, finishes, upholstery and coatings are designed to be weather-resistant.
Chairs, stools, dining tables, coffee tables and café tables define dining spaces used at different times of the day. Armrests are optional for the seating elements, including the lounge chair and 2-seat bench, which can also be trimmed with comfortable cushions. The smaller table comes in two heights, with a square or rectangular top.
Modular elements make it possible to configure the upholstered sofa as you like, with or without the backrests, completed by armrests, chaise longue, and table-like surfaces. The water-repellent, stain and mould-resistant double-density polyurethane padding, with the addition of memory foam, is covered in a synthetic fibre case. The outer upholstery is resistant to the rays of the sun and damage from water.
The practical, easy-to-handle sun lounger features a recline-able backrest with 5 settings and a matching mattress in expanded polyurethane foam. Optional wheels make it a breeze to move and reposition as desired.
