31/05/2019 - MDF Italia announced the acquisition of ACERBIS’ sales branch, as well as the brand and the collection. Acerbis is an historical Italian design company that, under the direction of Enrico Acerbis, has recently deeply renewed its identity.

Acerbis is a high-end brand featuring collections signed by best-known names of the international design panorama including Vico Magistretti, Gianfranco Frattini, Giotto Stoppino, Massimo Vignelli, as well as new contemporary lines, originating from young designers’ creative inspiration. MDF Italia shares with Acerbis the same principles of simplicity, experimentation and technical innovation.

The strategic goal for both brands – whose identities, though sharing similar values, will remain separated – is the commercial opening towards new international markets.

A goal that can be achieved thanks to the distribution network and the structured organization of MDF Italia, present for several years on the world scene.

In this context, Enrico Acerbis keeps his role as brand ambassador, while a brand new collaboration is starting between the new generations of two families which have been key players in the design scene for decades, Acerbis e Cassina, engaged in ensuring the collections of both brands that aesthetic and technological excellence that has made them unique and inimitable.

In MDF Italia show room, in Via della Chiusa Milan, from now on visitors will also discover Acerbis’s furnishing solutions, to get a complete vision of contemporary design.
