13/01/2020 - Monitillo Marmi takes part in Maison & Objet by previewing the new Bath Line by Monitillo1980, the new elements of the Pietre di Monitillo project and the Walls & Floors wall covering line.

The Apulian brand, which this year celebrates the first 40 years in business, has always dedicated special care to details and sourcing materials.

In the bathroom collection, marble is skilfully worked, both by hands and with hi-tech machinery, for it to be transformed in objects for daily life. The collection boasts a strong scenographic presence and consists of washbasins, monolithic washbasins, shower trays, tubs and mirrors chosen individually or integrated in a customizable linear system. Launched in 2016, Pietre di Monitillo is a collection of stone objects, the result of a cooperation between Monitillo Marmi and international designers, from disparate experiences and language, with a shared passion for the expressive potential of the material. The stones, carefully selected by master craftsmen, are processed by numerical control technology to create sculptures for the daily life, to experience and enjoy. The Monitillo Walls&Floors Collection is a combination of refined design and cultural contamination by international architects who have contributed to bring out the creative side of marble. The project was launched in 2016 under the creative direction of Efrem Bonacina. With Monitillo they started a dialogue with international architects and travelled through Europe to discover unique materials, colours and textures. This first edition of the Monitillo Walls & Floors features designs by Claesson Koivisto Rune, Defne Koz + Marco Susani, Emmanuel Gallina, Andrea Maffei and Chapman Taylor, the architects who were involved in the early stage of the project.
