Among the new natural stone claddings, Monitillo presents three collections designed by the Swedish architectural firm Claesson Koivisto Rune:
Linear and essential, Parallelo natural stone cladding has grooves cut along simple parallel lines. The unique finish creates small triangles on the surface, creating unexpected lighting effects when illuminated. Linear geometries also characterise the Dedalo collection, inspired by French parquet, with two cuts that create different combinations of dynamic serpentine lines. Vela, the third new collection from the Swedish architecture studio, is inspired by a tile floor photographed in Marrakech some time ago. Three formats with strongly bevelled geometries create a natural stone floor with a soft effect, where simplicity and contrasting shapes coexist harmoniously.
Monitillo Natural Stone Cladding and Furniture at Three Fuorisalone 2023 Venues
At Fuorisalone 2023, Monitillo natural stone furniture and cladding furnished three Milan locations. In the Unimatic store, designed by the Claesson Koivisto Rune studio, the Walls&Floors collection cladding covers the walls in classic shades of Carrara white. At Archiproducts Milano, designed in collaboration with Studiopepe, warm and full-bodied travertine tones merge with soft and tactile earthy beige shades in a mix of soft and organic lines. In Via Manzoni, the wall coverings and furnishings in the Home Collection, enlivened by splashes of colour, set the mood. Three different scenarios, from the more intimate spaces of a reserved living room to a boutique, to more conceptual settings, with a unity of material and colour.Monitillo Walls & Floors collection
The Monitillo "Walls & Floors" collection of natural stone floor and wall coverings results from collaboration with five international studios: Claesson Koivisto Rune, Defne Koz + Marco Susani, Emmanuel Gallina, Andrea Maffei and Chapman Taylor. The constantly evolving project was launched in 2016 under the creative direction of Efrem Bonacina and currently comprises eleven collections.Pietre di Monitillo - Home Collection
Pietre di Monitillo - Home Collection consists of natural stone furnishings and accessories. Monitillo launched the collection in 2016 with around twenty objects by international designers, and it has since grown with new collaborations. History and Mediterranean culture provide the backdrop for the unique pieces, many of which bear the names of Apulian coastal towers, paying homage to Southern Italian regions and crafts artistry.Discover the Home Collection products at Milan Design Week 2023.
