Design made in Puglia and art of the Italian and international twentieth century, Monitillo1980 marble furnishings
Launched in 2016 with about twenty complements, the series Pietre di Monitillo - Home Collection is enriched with new furnishings that pay tribute to the history and the Mediterranean culture: the objects bear the name of the Apulian coastal towers, in a tribute to the territory and craftsmanship of the South. In Paris the brand presents the new coffee tables with levelled surfaces and smooth lines. To the classic colour palette - from white Carrara marble, to Marquina Black and Imperial Green - more dense, warm and textured shades and finishes.
A match that marries with the new selected materials that, next to the traditional marble and travertine, combine amber spikes of bronzes and metals, heating the objects in a game of solids and voids, concave and convex joints
Galerie
Galerie is the name of the new series of decorative sculptures Made in Puglia conceived by Monitillo1980. Objects with full and essential shapes, faces without lines with play of light and shadows. The sculptures of the Galerie collection were born from the collaboration with local artists inspired by Italian and international art: from the metaphysics of Giorgio De Chirico in "Disturbing Muses", to the abstractionism of Fausto Melotti with "Sette Savi".
Walls&Floors
The Monitillo Walls & Floors collection combines design and cultural contamination in order to design walls and floors with a soft and tactile texture. The design of the products is characterized by soft shapes, the result of creative research born from the collaboration with five international studios: Claesson Koivisto Rune, Defne Koz + Marco Susani, Emmanuel Gallina Design Office, Andrea Maffei Architects and Chapman Taylor.
Bath Line
The bathroom collection signed Monitillo1980 consists of washbasins, shower trays, bathtubs and mirrors that can be chosen individually or integrated into a customizable linear system. Bath Line has a strong scenographic attitude, given by the material worked both by hand and with specialized machinery.
