Two key design features distinguish Plano. The first is the seat's generous width, obtained without increasing the footprint, and a packaging concept that optimizes space, using the full width of the frame, right up to the leg profiles, for efficient resource use. The second is an innovative, patented backrest hinge mechanism that enables fluid rotation until the backrest is fully flat. Developed to maximize guest comfort, the system also improves storage by simplifying stackability, thanks to an intelligent folding support.
"The idea," explains designer Raffaello Galiotto, "was to create a product adaptable to different needs—both private and contract environments, suitable for individual and shared use."
Made with premium materials, Plano combines a uniform, streamlined fiberglass resin structure with extruded aluminum bars beneath the frame, ensuring stability, strength, and long-term durability. The frame is topped with breathable technical fabric, available in a broad palette of coordinated tones.
Lightweight and easy to reposition, thanks to integrated castors, every detail has been thoughtfully considered: from the four-position adjustable backrest to anti-slip feet and the replaceable mesh option which extends the product's life even in high-traffic settings.
Plano is available in five tone-on-tone variants designed to integrate seamlessly with any context. "The colors aren't limited to the structure—they extend to the fabric as well, combined tone-on-tone. This careful study of harmony with the outdoors is reinforced by the relationship between the hues of each material," the designer explains.
