Inspiration Nature: Novocuadro Art Company at M&O

The color is the fil rouge linking the new collection of art pieces unveiled at the Paris fair

24/01/2023 - Novocuadro Art Company brings art to Maison&Objet 2023: this is the occasion to present its new collection of artworks bursting with optimism and confidence, betting on the theme of color.

Colors of nature
Serenity, calm and joy brings us Lucía Lago in her new artworks for Novocuadro Art Company . The artist demonstrates an innate skill in the use of aquamarine green and turquoise blue, soft colors that achieve perfect harmony when combined with neutral tones.

Lucía's works always evoke scenes of nature in the viewer's mind. Thus, we find canvases such as "Belize", "Emerald” or "Amazonia", which achieve a balanced and natural space in any environment.

Mediterranean sunsets
Jaime Jurado also contributes to the collection with a very colorful and summery proposal. His artwork "Fantasy I & II", made on treated wood, inspires us through colors as positive as fuchsia and yellow, which increase natural light, providing a refreshing and invigorating effect. For a more elegant atmosphere, Jurado returns to earth colors in his painting "Minimal". In this careful composition, the artist strives to achieve a sophisticated and clean space, without overloading it, using greys, whites and blacks as protagonists on a neutral chromatic base. This composition, where we see the natural lines and strokes so identifying the artist, overflows personality.

In this sense, he also presents his innovative work "Texture". A synchronized composition on canvases of different sizes where the protagonist is the viewer's own abstraction. The warm colors, beige and tile, are reminiscent of Mediterranean sunsets.

Elegant and exquisite contrasts
J. Cebrián, another of the most established painters of the Spanish firm, bases his collection on elegant contrasts. To do this, he combines natural tones with a wide range of greys, browns or blacks. The Spanish artist even dares to introduce brushstrokes in reddish tones that give the works character. His aim is to create a refreshing and stylish effect, while being extravagant.

His works "Ebano" and "Versa" show the potential of contrasts in decoration. These works enhance any environment and give it a captivating and unique personality.  Other intense and surprising works by this artist are the works “Chebo” or “Atenas”, both made on paper with a mixed technique. Its attractive contrast is capable of reaching the ideal balance to fill a space.
