27/05/2024 - Essential lines, an extra-slim design and a contemporary language give life to Workmates, the new Flos office lamp collection: suspensions, ceiling lights, track modules and floor lamps are created from a flattened aluminium extrusion that houses several light clusters. Visually discreet, customisable and efficient, the lamps are designed to minimise the materials and components used, in the name of circularity and visual comfort.
Light is emitted both up and downwards. Towards the worktop, light is provided by LED clusters, diffused evenly and glare-free thanks to the position of the lenses. The LED modules illuminating upwards, on the other hand, balance the light contrast and offer visual comfort designed for well-being in the workplace.
All variants can be controlled via building automation systems (DALI or CASAMBI) and in particular for lighting management according to the circadian rhythm. In this case, the light temperature is adjusted automatically according to the time of day, in accordance with the natural rhythm of sunlight.
At only 15 mm thick, Workmates lamps ensure well-being in the workplace thanks to state-of-the-art technology, glare-free optics and a conscious soul: easily assembled and disassembled, each model is designed to simplify repairability, upgrade or disposal at the end of its life cycle.
The lamps are optimized for circadian entrainment patterns which, by exploiting two separate control channels, offer a powerful, white and neutral uplight and a warmer, low-glare downlight.
Excellent finishes and a comprehensive colour palette - total white, total black and anodised grey with a silver finish - complete the aesthetics of the collection.
